Managing director
Peter's the boss and founder of the Magic Pencil. He oversees the company when he's not driving up or down mountain passes at the weekends.
There is virtually no job he can't do... he's our creative guru (and of course a genuine English gentleman).
He lists his interests as music, collecting, model-making and cars.
The real truth is – it's cars... cars and more cars!
Art director
With more than 20 years in the design business, Blaise looks over the creative department with Swiss precision.
His practical jokes often get him into deep waters (being a keen scuba-diver helps him out a lot).
He has stared a Tiger shark in the face which, he says, was a good training for dealing with clients.
Art director
When he's not on the golf course, trying to get his ball into the hole (or being mistaken for Steven Spielberg) he's trying to come up with a hole-in-one for the clients, so he says.
Try to get hold of him on Thursdays or Saturdays, he usually plays golf.
Graphic designer
If you want to know about films he's your man, being a keen collector of DVD's (it's rumoured he has more DVDs than Video Folies).
And when it comes to 3D computer drawing, he's a wiz (he's also pretty good at making furniture).
Junior designer
Can often be seen driving around in a French classic car, she is the quietest member of the creative team (except when she's behind her drumkit playing in her band).
Account director
Frederik or Fredo as he likes to be called, is our Account director.
He's the man to talk to if you need anything done (and being half-italian, he really likes to talk!) you will often find him engrossed in gourmet guides or concocting new recipes.
He’s a true epicurean.
Account manager
His American accent gives away his origins, he is our Account manager and he is one of the friendly links between us and our clients.
Apart from painting and family, his interests are snowboarding, biking, running...
In fact, he's a genuine, all-round sports freak!
Administration
Being Swedish and a mother, she is sorting out all the things to keep us, our suppliers and clients happy.
Her interests include flea-markets (collecting weird stuff), history and genealogy, but does she spend much time on them?
'You must be joking I've got a full-time job, two children and a husband!'
Senior copywriter
Complements the magic of our images with logic of words.
His interests are 'Proper music, messing about in the workshop, and enjoying the peace that comes to a man who has given up golf!'
Photolitho & production
When it comes to photolitho, retouching and flying, Eric's your man.
Whether in the air or on the ground, he knows how to meet everybody's expectations and deadlines.
He is a highly experienced pilot who enjoys the solitude of the sky and vintage aircraft, but we think it's because nobody will fly with him!
Junior designer
Melissa is into all kinds of dancing – from classic to breakdance. She is a keen photographer and finds it really hard to leave a Sudoku puzzle alone. Melissa is the baby of the team.
